_ I liked the piece on WHYY about you giving books away—great idea!! That is what teachers are supposed to do. Right on, right on, right on!!

_ This is really good, I'll forward it to the editor and see if they'd be interested in featuring it as a feature for one of the "Great Ideas" they are highlighting in the Inquirer and Daily News. Good luck, all the best
_ A great idea: Leave books in the waiting area of children's dentists, pediatricians, etc with a little note that says "Please take me home and read me!"
_ I am a 2nd grade special education teacher and I love, love, love the idea. So many of my students that I teach in my Title 1 school do not even have a book at home and the parents are illiterate as well. I don't take a train but I do go food shopping and there are always children in the market. What a great place to hand out a book or two. Thanks for the great idea!!!!
_ I've been mulling some ideas along this line for the past month or so. I have a lot of children in poverty at my school. I would love to be able to give them a book for the holidays. Any ideas on acquiring a bunch of free books would be appreciated. I do have a couple of boxes of used books that were donated that I'm planning on pulling out and displaying for kids to choose from, but I think the more I have at this point, the better. We have 500 kids at our school. Thanks for mobilizing everyone!!
_ I love this idea! I'm going to start doing it, and I'll be especially well supplied with board books when I go to the supermarket where almost always there's an unhappy toddler in a cart.
_I do this, too - and get as much pleasure from it as the recipients do. Love to hear you spreading it . . .
_ Hi :)
Please correct spelling of DINOSAUR in this line. (Yolen (Author of "How Do Dinasaurs Say Goodnight?") Love the idea, as I'm a children's librarian :) _"Neat idea. Am putting it on my FB page (almost 5,000 "friends")."
